History

We Go Through the
History of FACTAM

FACTAM is a consultancy with more than 30 years of experience in social, health and market research. Since 1990, we have worked for public administrations, social organizations and private companies, providing rigorous analysis and evidence‑based solutions.Every project starts by listening: understanding your organization, the people you serve and the environment in which you operate. This initial phase allows us to design research that is not only rigorous, but also meaningful and directly connected to real decision‑making.

“FACTAM has been dedicated to research in both the public and private sectors since 1990”.

Our flexible structure and the use of advanced technologies allow us to undertake projects of very different magnitudes: from evaluating training programmes in Public Administration to assessing the acceptance of new products or developing methodological models for results evaluation.

“The use of new technologies allows us to address projects of very different magnitudes and objectives…”.
Knowledge for Action

Social Research to Turn Ideas into High-Impact Projects

At FACTAM, we help institutions, businesses and cultural organisations gain a deeper understanding of their audiences, evaluate their initiatives and make evidence-based decisions. We conduct audience research, needs assessments, project evaluations, surveys, interviews and focus groups. We turn data and people’s experiences into useful insights that support the design of more relevant, inclusive and effective actions.
Techniques

We help you identify the research techniques that deliver faster, more reliable insights.

At FACTAM, we identify which research methods deliver faster and more reliable results for every project.

We select evidence‑based quantitative and qualitative methodologies tailored to the needs of public administrations, social organizations and private companies.

We combine surveys, interviews, focus groups, statistical analysis and advanced models to produce solid conclusions that support decision‑making.

Understanding Your Needs

Before We Begin

Every project starts with listening: understanding your organization, the people you serve and the environment in which you operate. This preparation allows us to design research that is not only rigorous, but also meaningful and aligned with real‑world decision‑making. Before we begin, we invite you to reflect on the questions you want answered, the changes you hope to achieve, and the information that can help us illuminate the path forward.

If Any Details Are Still Unclear

At FACTAM, we support each organization from the very beginning, helping define which questions matter, what information is truly useful, and how to shape the study so that it produces actionable, meaningful evidence. Our goal is to make the entire process clear, understandable and aligned with your needs from the very first step.

What does a research project include?
It includes the definition of objectives, methodological design, qualitative and/or quantitative data collection, data analysis, and a final report with conclusions and actionable recommendations.
What methodologies do you use?
We select the methodology according to the purpose of the study: interviews, focus groups, surveys, document analysis, Delphi studies, statistical analysis, evaluation models, and other evidence‑based techniques.
What are the phases of a study?
Planning, methodological design, fieldwork, analysis, and presentation of results. Each phase is adapted to the needs of the organization and the type of research.
How do you ensure data quality?
We apply validation protocols, fieldwork controls, technical review and statistical analysis to ensure that the information is reliable, representative and useful for decision‑making.
What types of studies does FACTAM carry out?
Social, socio‑sanitary and market research: professional perception studies, user satisfaction, service analysis, epidemiological studies, brand positioning, territorial diagnostics and program evaluations.
How does a project begin?
By listening to your needs: what you want to understand, what decisions you need to make and what information already exists. From there, we design the most suitable approach and define the scope of the study.
What kind of information do you collect?
Quantitative data, testimonies, perceptions, experiences, service indicators, contextual analysis and any evidence relevant to the study.
How do you work with organizations?
Collaboratively: we hold regular meetings, share progress and adjust the approach when necessary so that the study remains useful, applicable and aligned with the organization’s goals.
What can I expect at the end of the project?
A clear understanding of the reality studied, solid conclusions and recommendations that help improve services, guide decisions and support strategic planning.
